My Dear Peaches. You and your brother Cream were rescued from the Wisconsin Rapids Humane Society. So little you were, we had to wait to even bring you guys home. Brothers from the same litter, we couldn’t see separating you guys and mom couldn’t hardly wait to get you home. You loved teasing your brother and cleaning his face…such a good boy. You got excited every time a new box came home from Aldis or Sam’s Club; you would make sure that box was yours. A lover of catnip, and that favorite catnip pillow of yours. When the itch arose, you always seemed to know where to find it, maybe to just rub your face on it or to toss and chase it around.
You always seemed to know when dad got home, as off to the kitchen you would run to wait for him to come in, and then it was time for hugs, even before mom. Such a daddy’s boy you were, until it was time to snuggle, then it was all about mom. He was always there for naptime with mom and snuggling on her legs on the couch. You better have the blanked ready mom! Nighttime was no different, even though it might be 2am; he always loved to snuggle up on mom’s chest in bed.
You loved your treats and we had to start spelling and then had to find nicknames, because you learned all mom’s code words. Such a good boy. We will miss your companionship, your meows, feistiness, and those great hugs. We will miss you Peachy Babes…
