I found Baby Dozer as a tiny kitten on the side of the road on 10/2/02 and he’s been with me through some very difficult times. Over the last 17 1/2 years, he was the one constant in my life.
He got his name because when three bigger dogs and two other cats were introduced to him for the first time, they made an arc formation around him on the floor, and when he took a step towards them, they divided a pathway for him, much like a bulldozer would do to a hill of dirt. And so he established his ‘fearless and fierceness’ front which he used when meeting new people or new animals to test their character. You had to pass his test or you didn’t make it into his heart. If you passed his test, oh what a joy his catitude graced you with! His expressions and playfulness could melt a heart of stone. And his fur was beyond soft, like it was spun from clouds from heaven.
Baby Dozer entered my world on 10/2/02 and carved a huge part of my heart into his own. He left this world on 5/11/20. Love and miss you Baby Dozer.
