WE HELP FAMILIES HONOR THEIR BELOVED PETS
Over the years, your faithful companion has become an important member of your family, with their unique personality and unconditional love. When facing the loss of a pet, a family typically experiences the same sense of loss as it would for the "human" members of the family.
At Pets Honored, we treat pets just like any other family member. We are here to provide your cherished companion the respect and dignity they deserve in their final farewell. Pets Honored has years of professional experience and skill to help you in your time of bereavement. We are a division of Herman-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Wisconsin Rapids and have been caring for our community since 1953. In 2018, we saw a need in central Wisconsin to provide dedicated, caring aftercare services for area pet lovers. We are licensed funeral directors and certified crematory operators. You can rest assure your pet's cremation will be done to the same exacting standards as a human loved one.
Pets Honored is family owned and operated by pet people and we are passionate about providing the best care possible.
WE ARE AVAILABLE 24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS A WEEK, 365 DAYS A YEAR.
IF YOUR PET HAS PASSED AWAY AND YOU ARE IN AN AT-NEED SITUATION, PLEASE CALL US DIRECTLY AT 715-423-7387, AND ONE OF OUR LICENSED PROFESSIONALS WILL ASSIST YOU.
UNDERSTANDING PET CREMATION TERMS AND THEIR MEANINGS
At Pets Honored, we like to speak in clear and simple terms. A "Private" pet cremation at Pets Honored is where one and only one pet is cremated during a cremation cycle. Your pet is a family member and should be treated as such.
Other pet cremation services in our area, including those offered through some of the clinics, use multiple terms including: "Priority", "Private", "Individual", and "Communal" when describing services.
With other services, only a "Priority" pet cremation is where one pet is cremated at a time and the ashes returned.
These same services use the terms "Private" or "Individual" cremation to describe a process where multiple pets are placed in the cremation chamber, separated out into designated areas, and then cremated at the same time. Each pet is then "individually" removed from the chamber.
At Pets Honored, we believe these terms are deceptive, and while we offer a similar type of service through area clinics, it is clearly termed a "Semi-Private" cremation because, although seperated, your pet will be in the chamber with another pet during the cremation process.
A "Communal" cremation is a large group cremation without any separation and the ashes are not returned to the pet owner.
The subject of the end of a pet's life, just like that of any other family member, is difficult. You can take comfort in knowing Pets Honored is available days, evenings and weekends. We are honored to help you and are here to answer any questions you may have.
